Jessica Juhl is the mom of four boys, and her family has been a homeschooling family since her oldest began first grade in 2013. Jessica is originally from Juneau, Alaska and received a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. While attending UAF she tutored college level mathematics and spent her summers working for a guiding company at the Mount Robert’s Nature Center in Juneau, Alaska, where she was able to share her love for Juneau. She moved out of Alaska to start her life with her husband in his home state of Arizona. Before beginning her adventure as a full time mom, she also spent some time tutoring inner city children through an online tutoring service. In 2015 after living in Arizona, Kentucky, and Texas because of her husbands military commitment, Jessica with her husband and their brood moved to Missoula, MT. Jessica’s favorite subjects to teach her kids are math and anything having to do with science! As for hobbies she enjoys gardening, hiking, and trying to learn to crochet when she isn’t reading or learning with her kids!
