Jason graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in mathematics. He taught middle and high school math- everything from 8th grade math to advanced calculus- for six years before the pains of the public education system moved him in a different direction. He will go back to teaching eventually but right now he is really enjoying the break and is looking forward to working on math with homeschoolers and being able to teach in a way that he believes works better, but wasn’t able to do in a traditional school setting.
Jason loves creating- he is artistic and enjoys woodworking- building furniture and making signs, drawing, 3D modeling with Google SketchUp, and using his vinyl cutter to make cool things. He loves to learn and is a podcast and youtube junkie. He likes roadtrips, musicals, post apocalytic movies, and anything to do with time travel. His favorite thing is hanging out with his wife and three awesome kids.
