Toy Take Apart (all ages)

November 30, 2016 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

|Recurring Event (See all)
Wednesdays 10:30 am - 11:30 am
$8

Unstuff, unscrew and see what really makes your toys tick. Have you ever wondered what makes your RC cars move or what makes your Elsa doll sing, “Let it go”? Better yet, have you ever wanted to build an RC tank that sings “Let it go” as it rolls into battle? In this class, we will explore what makes our toys work by dismantling and examining the parts. Then, we will put these parts to new use as we create unique toys. More experienced students can use arduinos boards to program their new creations. Arduinos boards are available at Endvr for a $15 fee.

This is a drop in class. Come as often as you’d like and complete as many projects as you’d like. Bring old toys from home or borrow some from Endvr. Have fun learning how your world works!
