Mindfulness and Meditation

Meditation and mindfulness practices have been shown to enhance learning and behavioral stability in many studies. This is a secular approach, involving stillness, awareness and focus. Students will practice mindful eating and complete a short meditation. The focus is on raising a student’s awareness of their personal space, thoughts, attitudes and self regulation.
