Food and Farming Science

Get your hands dirty at eNDVR’s garden. Learn about canning and food preservation. Understand where your food comes from! In addition to giving students real world skills, this class will delve into the science behind what we eat. Students will tour the Good Food Store and other local food producers/distributors to learn how economy and geography affect our diets. eNDVR’s “survive” students will study age appropriate topics in biology, ecology, chemistry, history and math that relate to food science, preservation and distribution.
