# AP Chemistry : Fall Semester

## September 19, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 5:50 pm

An event every week that begins at 4:00pm on Tuesday, repeating until February 1, 2018

### Event Navigation

The course will be taught at the level of a high school Chemistry course. Students desiring an introduction to Chemistry and those preparing for the AP Chemistry exam are encouraged to register. A solid grasp of Algebra will be needed to solve the problems (see below). Students are expected to read the materials prior to presentation and be able to solve problems on their own using the solutions guide for assistance and learning.

Class time will be used to cover general concepts and review problems. The plan is to cover approximately one chapter every 2 weeks. The lecture time is limited and will be focused on the AP prep students. Introductory students may benefit from being in a class in which their understanding is incomplete, however, there will only be brief review of basic principles.

*Self-study is essential; two or more hours per day recommended. *
